Picture 1 – Arizona Mountains

Before the picture had been edited:




The picture when the tool Flip Horizontal was used.  To use this tool, click on the pictured then format which is highlighted red and then click on rotate and flip horizontal.





This is the image after it has been cropped.  To crop an image, double click on the picture and it will automatically show the crop sign, click on the sign and then drag one of the points over the picture to remove the part you do not want.


This is the picture after the tool flip horizontal was used and also when the picture effects bevel was added to it.  To do this click on picture effects then bevel and then bevel circle.



This is the picture after the contrast has been increased.  To do this, double click on the image, then when the format section is highlighted click on the contrast section and click on +20%.




This is the picture after the brightness has been decreased to -10% and to do this, double click on the picture and as soon as the format section is highlighted click on brightness and then click on -10%.




This is a print screen of the picture after it has been reshaped with the rounded rectangle shape tool.  To do this click on the picture shape section when the format section has been highlighted and then click on the rounded rectangle tool.





This is a print screen of the image after the text has been added to it.  To do this click on insert, then click word art and then click on any style of text and type in what you want.  To change the colour or shape etc. double click on the word and it will highlight the format section and you can change the style and colour etc. from there.

This is before the picture has been edited:




I started off by decreasing the size of the image.  To do this click on the image and it will show pointers at different sections of the image, then click on one of the points and drag them in or out depending on what way you want your picture to look.


Then after I had resized the image I increased the contrast of the image to +40%.  To do this, double click on the image, then when the format section is highlighted click on the contrast section and click on +40%.


After increasing the contrast of the image to +40% I increased the brightness of the image to +10%.  To do this, double click on the picture and as soon as the format section is highlighted click on brightness and then click on +10%.




After increasing the brightness of the image to +10% I change the rotation of the image to flip horizontal.  To use this tool, click on the pictured then format which is highlighted red and then click on rotate and flip horizontal.



After rotating the image to a different angle I cropped the picture and removed part of the image from each side.  To crop an image, double click on the picture and it will automatically show the crop sign, click on the sign and then drag one of the points over the picture to remove the part you do not want.




After cropping the image I added a white picture frame to make the picture stand out more.  To do this double click on the image and then when the format section is highlighted go to the picture styles section and click on the section one which is the beveled matte, white.




After adding a new picture style to the image click on format and then picture effects and after the scroll down menu appears, click on bevel and ensure that the bevel circle is highlighted. 




After ensuring that the bevel circle is highlighted, click on the perspective diagonal upper left shadow effect.  To do this click on picture effects, click on shadow and then at the bottom click on perspective diagonal upper left.




This is a print screen of the image after it has been edited with word art and the words have been placed on top.  To do this click on insert, then click word art and then click on any style of text and type in what you want.  To change the colour or shape etc. double click on the word and it will highlight the format section and you can change the style and colour etc. from there.

This is the image after the blue border has been added to it.  To do this double click the image, click on border colour and click the colour and width in which you want for your image.





This a print screen of the image after the bevel imprint has been added.  To edit the imprint or add the imprint to the picture, click on the picture effects, then click bevel and then click on the bevel inset imprint.




This is a print screen of the image after the contrast has been increased to +40%.  To do this, double click on the image, then when the format section is highlighted click on the contrast section and click on +40%.




After I increased the contrast to +40% I then decreased the brightness to -10%.  To do this, double click on the picture and as soon as the format section is highlighted click on brightness and then click on -10%.




After decreasing the brightness to -10% I then cropped the size of the image.  To do this, double click on the image and then click the crop button.  There will be black tabs at different parts of the image, drag them in to crop the image to how you want it to look.





After cropping the image I changed the shape by clicking on the picture shape in the format section and then clicked on rounded rectangle.




I then finished off by adding the text to the image, by using word art.  To do this click on insert, then click word art and then click on any style of text and type in what you want.  To change the colour or shape etc. double click on the word and it will highlight the format section and you can change the style and colour etc. from there.
